Leaves

Fresh morning dog walk.  Two encounters: Fiona and Carlton the Yorkie - named after the pub The Carlton Arms where is former owner was the landlady, and a lady who loves a feel of velvet ears. 

Cycled to nearby wholefood warehouse for olive oil, peppercorns, vanilla pods and aloe vera gel.

Sat in the garden watching butterflies.  As I was wearing light blue a red admiral alighted on me.  Lovely!  Lucky I'm referring to butterflies.

Pottered about inside and out.  Had another sit in the garden with the hound.  

Weather has been pleasant but mostly cloudy.  Still better than Europe.  My cousin in Salerno said it's 35° indoors despite air conditioning and fan.  Unfortunately the sea nearby is frequently polluted.

A friend living in coastal Greece finds the sea the perfect cooling off for 38°.   My kind of cooling off.
