We started with breakfast in Keswick then walked to the Pencil Museum. The Keswick Convention is on at the moment so car parking is even harder than usual. That’s why we had an early start.

I have to admit that in all the years I’ve lived in the Lakes I haven’t visited the museum until today. Small, but with lots of interesting information about the history of pencil making in the area and quiz sheets for all ages to make sure we read everything.

I’ve got one eye on the Men’s final at Wimbledon as I type and post this.
