Gamchi glacier

Thé Gamchi glacier is one of the many melting glaciers in Switzerland. It was still incredible to see though.
We left the Rotstock hut and set off up the steep climb to the Col. Spent some time watching marmots play. As we arrived earlier than expected we took a longer path that took us to view points of the Gamchi glacier. It was steep at times and involved some steps and a ladder. See extras. Afterwards it was a long downhill hike to Grisalp. We’re staying in a historic hotel overnight which is full of character.
