Before the storm

The weather forecasters (those infallible soothsayers of the meteorology department) suggested that the rain would start by 8am this morning after which it would be windy and wet.  So having used up my indoor blip pass with yesterday's selfie, I thought I'd better get up and try to take a photo before the rain started.

This is the top of the Mendip Hills shortly after sunrise this morning.  Shortly after I took this, it started to rain so I headed home for breakfast.  Needless to say, while the weather has been very windy and changeable, it's not actually been that wet.  Although, when it has been wet its been torrential.
