Okey Dokey, Arta-Chokey

This neighborhood guy grows huge artichoke plants as a border around his front garden. Doesn’t seem to eat the chokes, but it sure makes for an interesting hedge.

The morning fog, which I sometimes resent when I can’t see across the street when I’m having my coffee, is what’s keeping us cool and comfortable compared to the rest of the area. We peaked at 84 degrees in the backyard, and now, in the evening, it’s cool and we took a pleasant stroll around the block.
