Beyond Murren

It is the first time we’ve been along this valley from Murren and the scenery was breathtaking. It starts off with views of the other side of the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau then continues round with even more amazing glaciers.

We took the gondola up from Lauterbrunnen to save some climbing then took a higher trail that eventually dropped down to Murren. We met friends who live there all year now for coffee. Then we continued on and up until we reached the Rocstock hut where we are spending the night. See extra. The hut is full but there’s a lovely atmosphere. The noise from the cow bells is very loud so I hope that they go to bed when we do!
