Sørvágsvaten

After a lazy morning, we went to Miðvágur, where Sørvágsvaten, the lake above the ocean is situated. It is about 45 minutes walk and by the time we got there, the weather had deteriorated, so we didn't quite get the best view. 

Still, we got down to the lake itself and enjoyed some fun scrambling on very grippy volcanic rock. We lost track of the time a little and the way back to the bus was quite rushed. 

We had to catch that bus in order to get to the Faroese cultural evening that we booked. It a was very enjoyable with good local food, music dance and storytelling.

I am back-blipping - too tired yesterday after the cultural evening - so I am now a day out of sync..
