I was awake early and No.1 woke early too.  After a cup of tea we decided on a walk as the weather was good.  No.1 had a call booked in with her boss at 10.30 and I had a nails appointment so a walk fitted in well.  We did a short circuit but it was through fields so off the main road.  The big house opposite us had a party at the weekend and the balloon was in the trees, left over from the festivities, although not sure why it was upside down.

The rest of the day was fairly uneventful.  No.1 had a long sleep, OH did MIL shopping (although she had crossed off tomatoes and said she would have some of the ones we were growing?!  Maybe one or two but I have BIG plans for lots of soup).  I had my nails done and then not much else.  JC coming back tonight but he missed his train so dinner delayed but early blipping instead.

Oh - not really uneventful.  No.1 had call to say surgery was going ahead on Monday.  Three more days to worry and ponder.
