West Wyvern

Mr Flum and I had our MOTs at the GP surgery this morning and passed this, one of the two wyverns atop the gateposts for Grange House. None of the house remains and the gateposts were relocated to Grange Loan; this lies next to Lovers' Loan.

I first blipped this in 2013, having previously blipped the Eastern one in 2011, which demonstrates how infrequently I pass this way.

This afternoon we had a mini-blipmeet with Sallymair (see extra) over a coffee and bun in Craigie's cafe - noisy with chairs being scraped on the floor rather than with children, but we managed a good hour's worth of conversation nonetheless.

We arrived home well before an evening of torrential rain which has filled the pond and thoroughly irrigated the garden.
