Creepy Crawly

We picked the gooseberries that were trailing on the ground and, when I washed them, this weevil crawled out and ran along the edge of the sink.

Vine weevils (Otiorhynchus sulcatus) are not popular with gardeners as the larvae feed on roots but I put it on the birdtable for a quick snack for passing birds.
