Beside the Seaside

We returned to Mersea Island this morning. This time we explored the east end of the shore with its beach huts, grass lined promenade, and cafes. We enjoyed seeing the diversity in the character of the huts and their quirky names. It brought back memories of childhood holidays in Dorset. Back then beach huts were a more affordable price.

It’s been another relaxing afternoon with a pre dinner dog walk into the local town. It’s cooler today but still sunny and very warm at times.
