Flamingos!

Our second day was spent visiting many beautiful lakes! We had an early start attempting to see sunrise - we had been told it would rise at 5.30, by 6.15 it had just started to look pretty! We were not impressed! The lakes were all incredible, with amazing mountains surrounding them, many half in Bolivia and half in Chili! Amazingly there is a huge flamingo population who live in these high altitude lakes, they were very serene standing one legged in the middle of the lakes. We ended the day by Laguna colerada, an amazingly red lake! We stayed the night in an even more basic hostal, which meant it was even colder!
