Like your Imitation love for me

I did the Monday Supermarket run last night, and picked up a bunch of 12 roses for 60 pence!

That was five vases for the office.

The Bloody builders are still there.

I forgot to mention that when we arrived at 1 am on Sunday Morning, i was heading into the drive, and realised that the scaffolding next door had now extended and was covering the drive where we park.

We are having to park the car at a jaunty angle on the edge of the lawn..  There is roughcast everywhere.  They leave rubbish bags, and lumps of concrete everywhere.

Tonight, to my shame, i picked up rubbish from the drive, and chucked it over the fence.   I'm not sure why; the decent thing would have been to put it in  the bin.   I feel so invaded I just wanted to hit back.

The neighbours actually came over on Sunday and apologized and gave  us a couple of bottles of wine.  I wouldn't go to the door.   I can't be arsed being civil.    I love our neighbours I really do, and I know they are mortified by the mess and my discomfort, but I'm not prepared to make them feel better, by pretending that I'm all good about it.

When Si and I left the house  this morning, the "boss" builder shouted, "good Morning" over to us.  I glared at him,  took my phone out and took a photograph of the wood which they have piled up in the drive, on top of the wood we had in the drive.

I'm keeping it for evidence, for when they throw it in the skip.

I  wish they  wouuld bloody well get finished and get out of my space.
