Thank you to all those who wished me luck for my first sailing race today.

I am pleased to be able to report that I am almost certain I started one race, and there is an outside chance that I may have finished it!

I was so chuffed with my 'achievement' that when I saw the fast fleet catamarans beached on the shore, I thought it was over and sailed to the slip way and pulled my boat out, hosed it down, slapped the sides a few times, let the sail down and parked it back in her berth - just as the second race started!!!! doh, what a muppet I am.
