Hot dog

Another hot one, 30 degrees in the shade, and poor Elvis spends most of the day lying on the cool tiles on the kitchen floor.
I went to see the orthopaedic consultant this morning after having another X-ray. He confirmed that my finger is broken across the bone, but is healing. He said I can stop wearing the splint, and in two weeks I can start bending my finger like doing a ‘come here’ sign! Oh and it will be swollen for three months. It did start feeling better after he held my hand though!
Then I came home and watched the Eubanks/Tsitsipas match.
