Whisky Stramash

Today was the Whisky Stramash at the surgeon's hall. All you can drink whisky tasting for four hours. Met up with Richard and went for lunch at Biblos before heading over.
The tasting was good fun and too much whisky was drunk. There was a Glenfiddich vault tasting exhibition along with a Big Easy cocktail bar to go to. The Big Easy was serving Woodford Reserve Bourbon as a cocktail in teacups.

From there it was more whisky with a great Benromach peat smoke dram and the new distillery on Islay Kilchoman had a great dram especially as it was only 4 years old. Might have to pop over for some more while on Islay.

We had a taste experience, which ended up with a big peat cocktail and solidified brown sauce with bacon. Sounds strange but tasted great.

From there it was to the bar with a few people we met in there before getting a curry and some more beers and going back to watch the GP. Don't remember much of that but I did manage to spill curry over myself and the sheepskin rug apparently.
