St Catherine’s Lighthouse
A warm sunny morning, we went down to the southernmost part of the island for a beautiful walk, through fields and along the coast path by the lighthouse. My friend G in Bristol told me her father spent his childhood there, as his father was the lighthouse keeper. So many wild flowers in the meadows including self-heal, scarlet pimpernel, scabious, restharrow, ladies bedstraw and orchids. Of which one in the extra. In the afternoon we all sat in various spots in the garden reading, and then spent the evening still in the garden playing Rummikub
