Extras of our walk - met Mark and Brandy in Chipping for brunch, then set off through the Leagram estate towards Saddle Fell and Wolf Fell - curlews at Saddle End Farm ;)
The traverse across to Fairsnape, and Paddy's Pole at the trig point at 1674 feet

Also took in Parlick Pike, and returned via Wolfen Hall grounds. Nearly 10 miles for the circuit - I haven't gone that far for a while, especially not with ups!
Enjoyed our day together and our walk in memory of John, who knew these hills well and loved to stroll in them.

Lager shandy hit the spot on our return, and a lovely meal back at the Tickled Trout. 

Shame Andy Murray didn't get through to the next round - but a great game v Tsitsipas!
