Hot day

Extremely hot in the summerhouse today. I couldn't wait to finish work. So after swift pizza making and eating, Jon and I are spending the evening on the beach. Where I am now, composing my blip. A cooling breeze, and lots of families still in and out of the sea. The pier in the distance. We have books,chairs and beer. Mollie has gone off to meet her girl friends, and Henry and Daniel have gone off on their motorbikes to meet up with a biker group in Reepham. A perfect end to everyone's week.

Car passed it's MOT with just a couple of minor advisories (one being the back registration plate was a bit faded - but still legible - I think he was trying to find things wrong!!) Had my mammogram. So good that these routine scans are offered. It has been less than 3 years since my last one. The radiographer said some departments are 18 months behind, but they worked hard during covid to keep on top of things, and they have no backlog.

Work was rushed.

Now back to my book, and the breaking waves!
