Building site buddleia
Buddleia self seeds into all sorts of corners in this city, including on neglected roofs and gutters.
A fine sunny day for a Royal event, much better than the garden party afternoon yesterday. Saw a couple of people in scarlet clawhammer tailcoats and cream knee breeches walking along the street in the morning, and more similarly dressed in cars; on their way to the procession, most likely. Listened to the service in St Giles on radio 3 for some of it, though there was a UKNOF call mid afternoon.
Time I looked for a place to stay in the City of London for 4 or 5 nights at the end of September. The place where I stayed last year (this view) in Temple isn't available. The conference for which we are preparing is at 15 Hatfields, just south of the river.
