Nothing proves that time is passing more quickly than birthdays! Our grandchildren are already clocking up the years and,, of course, so are our children. Today was our daughter’s turn. Cake, candles and fun for her today! It was also the 75th birthday of the NHS and in Edinburgh “honours” were given to the man who is already King. Full marks to Scotland for allowing visible, vocal, peaceful and prominent protest.
