XXVII Mänttä Art Festival: Out of Nowhere

We did family day trip to Mänttä. Our main destination was the Mänttä Art Festival in the old factory building Pekilo. It is the largest summer exhibition of Finnish contemporary art. The title for the 2023 exhibition is Out of Nowhere. We all liked it a lot! In the picture is Jenni Hiltunen's painting.

Then hubby, Leevi and Peetu walked 4 km to the Serlachius Museum Gösta, me and Emma drove there. We saw three exhibitions:
Lorna Simpson: Haze
Pirjetta Brander: Undercurrent
Elena Näsänen: Night and Day

Finally we had dinner in the Viinitupa Vuorenmaja tavern.

What a wonderful day!
