Rainy Day People

After breakfast MrsP and I went for a ride. It was lightly raining and mostly quiet for a Sunday morning. We visited the boat landing, then drove to Hallowell for a different river view, and a blip :) While MrsP picked up a prescription I purchased a few items from the grocery store that we forgot Friday • When we arrived home I found a dead mole in our driveway. A calling card from Louis, our neighbor’s young cat. He’s becoming a problem as he’s in our yard too much, looking for attention, and hunting. MrsP approached the neighbors yesterday and they seemed to understand our concerns. It’s impossible to control a cat but he is not welcome to catch our birds and chipmunks • Louis is black and white, friendly and very sweet. Most cats run if you clap your hands and say “Shoo!” but not him. He flops at your feet and purrs. His parents said to spray him, which I will do if he’s hunting, but it’s hard for me to be mean to him. I may have to lean on MrsP for assistance • The situation is stressing me out! • Off to practice the uke while MrsP composts! • Have a fabulous day!
