Flores to Faial

An easy day but with travel disruption - not uncommon here and one of the reasons we’re doing an organised tour!

Supposed to fly to Terciera island but the local airline changed the flight time so it would be impossible to connect. So we ended up staying overnight in Horta on Faial island. The tour company quickly organised a nice hotel and lovely restaurant for dinner and it was a good evening.

Walked around Santa Cruz before we left Flores, visited the whaling museum and saw Portuguese Men-of-War washed up on the beach … odd things, Hydrozoa apparently.
