Fallow Deer
We’re at Holly this evening. I walked down to the entrance to the park, noting that bird song has almost ceased. We’ve moved into the quiet time of summer (the very breezy weather will have been a factor too).
Out on the adjacent meadow ten fallow deer were grazing, whilst keeping alert to everything around them. They are often to be seen grazing here, and seem unfazed by people so long as they can keep their distance and don’t feel threatened.
