Yns Llanddwyn
No rain today, a mix of clouds and sunshine, so Mr P and I set off to explore Anglesey after breakfast.
Our host had recommended Llanddwyn Bay for its views over Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) and as the tide was out, we walked to Llanddwyn Island. I was lucky enough to witness a seal leaping in the sea, unfortunately Mr P missed it.
After a Lidl shop, we had a picnic lunch at Trearrdur Bay and then spent the rest of the afternoon at Porth Dafarch (my favourite beach). I’d hoped to drive up to South Stack to see the puffins but we had to get back home to Perry. She’s an outdoor cat who can be left all day, but she gets fed at 5pm. We did think after yesterday’s stressful drive that it had been too far to travel for a weekend trip, but today made it feel worthwhile!
