Come On In - The Water's Lovely

The Sparrows were having a great time in the pond this morning....lots of Splashing about (there are 4 more after that one).

I didn't do any more on the Snakewood today - but I did make a wee pot from a bit of Yew.
When I went to photograph it I got distracted by a feather ... and took a load of close-up/abstract shots of it. I liked the light touching the edge (there are more over there) .

SWMBO saw yesterday that there were seats available for a forthcoming concert at Howden Park Theatre in Livingston and that some of them were in a position with is suitable for my knackered long legs. The price was right too but there is a booking fee slapped on top of that ... so today we went up there an hour before the box office was due to close.
However, it turns out that the times for the booking office are completely wrong and you have to know to go onto the theatre's own website .... not on a general search engine or the artist's website. The  times also very depending what is on in the theatre so aren't actually 'fixed' They know of this problem and seemed to think it is all a big laugh. They also told us that they charge a booking fee even if you turn up to buy the tickets. Why? 
Also, the seating plan on-line is different from the one that they have so there is no way of knowing if the seats you book are actually the ones you want (or need).
With the with the staff attitude and the ineptitude over trying to get information etc it is no wonder that the place is very likely to close.
We decided that we will not be going to the concert.
