The Critic

Up to the Taylor Wessing Portrait exhibition. Apparently  the photographs examine a range of subjects – from queerness, transness and the concept of chosen family… yes yes you get the idea. And autism and dementia in case you’re feeling left out. It does ram it in your thrapple somewhat.
Onward, to the Apple store, as our iPhones battery lives have both deteriorated to the point where they’re running out of juice by late afternoon. Indeed, slightly like ourselves, but these are only two and a half years old. While the SK went off for a bit of a coiffuring I had to hang about for a couple of hours. A perfect length of time to go all the way to Leith (and back!) on the tram with my paper and sample a beer in the Carriers Quarters.
Later the rain came down whilst I chummed a very relaxed daughter to nursery to pick up the weans. She’s back at work y’see and this was her first day off. Obviously much more fun than the ten month's maternity leave. Yes, it’s Friday!
