It was a lot cooler today, due mainly to the strong breeze I think. Barely any rain though . JS came round and we walked through the park and up to the embankment and memorial gardens. The flower beds in the park are looking lovely .
Had a coffee in the new cafe. Nice venue and drinks but don’t think it will survive unless they decide to offer breakfast and lunch, at least at the weekend . Got home in time for a late lunch and play with the kittens, and then someone came round who had offered pet-sitting services. She’s only 14 but loves cats and lives about10 minutes walk away. She came with her Mum who will come with her the first couple of times so have decided to give her a try when i go up to Edinburgh in August. They stayed for over an hour- she just played with the kittens and her Mum and I had a cup of tea and chatted
