Floor is finished and here is the result . Very pleased with it. It’s slightly darker, a lot flatter and the nasty black stains in the cloakroom have gone.
Morning seemed to run away a bit - Harvey likes a chat and I also had to negotiate with a new window cleaner. I wanted someone who would go up a ladder and get all the builders fingerprints etc off- most people seem to only use a water pole. He was happy to oblige and did a good job so have booked in as a regular customer. Went into town to the Thursday craft group. Was thinking about missing it but it was useful to be out of the house whilst the varnish dried. Got home just as he finished the last coat so was confined to the kitchen for 2 hours!
