G and D are historians and like us they love a good church. The Norman church of St Mary and St Michael in Melbourne South Derbyshire is breathtaking and G here is going to extreme lengths to photograph the ceiling. It was a good photo.
A great lunch in a pub come microbrewery across the road and we finished the day with a second trip to Calke Abbey. Them to look round the house while we did a turn of the lovely walled gardens.
