The Remarkable Mountains …..

….. ….. ….. towering over the Lower Shotover area; the riverbed is showing, but not the river itself.

I love how the colour of the house in the lower centre of the photo blends in with the scenery.

A beautiful morning and it was just as well we’d walked up the Shotover then, as it all started clagging in about lunchtime. There’s been some fresh snow and the skifields will be pleased, but will be hoping for more.
