A Promise..

..of a better tomorrow!  

Once again we had a smoky day, but by mid-afternoon, it was beginning to improve..and this evening, we had clear air and even a hint of an interesting sunset! Oh yes, and up in that evening sky? A lovely moon that we could actually see!  

It is disappointing to think that this ever-changing air quality problem may continue all summer but it could, as it seems there is no end in sight yet for these fires...

My time at the cottage was officially over today, but..bonus! although my sister is arriving tomorrow, her family is not arriving until Friday night so so there is room for me to stay and have an overnight visit with her before heading home to the city. 

So...an extra day! Yay! Life is good.
