Eyespots And Ox-eyes

The ringlet is one of my favourite butterflies. I love its rich chocolate colouring and its simple but striking rings or eyespots. This one settled on a patch of ox-eye daisies. I rejected lots of the shots I took as the daisies are going over and looked too messy as a backdrop for such a beautiful creature.
