I almost forgot it was twilight

From the deck at 1050pm

Still as still and the rain has finally stopped

Today has been a reading and games day. It has poured non stop from dawn til dusk.

Still had a great day - we met K at the boat house (which was immediately filled with the neighbours, obviously thinking we were going to raid their drink stash ) and were having a look at R’s handiwork (R and K are the management couple on the island - they stay change the sheets and clean up once a week; keep the boats in order and farm the animals)

R has taken up wood turning and resin work … we chose some bits and bobs and gave sympathetic ooohs to R when he showed that he’s not 100% clear with the wood turner and had caught his finger in it

Then we came back to the house and Tooli shouted us (as quietly as she could). Three seals were sitting in our wee bay. One of them swam off and around two of them but the two of them were tossing each other around and twisting and turning and leaping out the water

It was just a joy to watch. - despite us having to change our clothes from standing on the balcony for fifteen minutes watching them

More games tonight. It’s awful playing with two really competitive types. I never win but I do like to play
