Before and After

We were out most of the morning dog walking and shopping, and I was amazed when I went up the garden to see what they had taken down. I understood that as well as the Sycamore  it was 2 Elderberry trees, 1 wayward birch and the Hazel tree to come down and found they had cleared brambles and nettles  too. The garden is huge now. just as it used to be years ago. Also all around the Sycamore had been devastated and my little spring blossom tree and a small crab apple tree had gone but it cant be helped,  it can be rectified once I cut back the snowberry still growing against the fence. The lad said it was awful and full of white fly which were sticking to their faces as they disturbed them
Watching them take down the big tree was quite scary at times . Its done now for a short while until it starts to grow again from the stumps of the branches they have left stuck up.

Of course it had to be rainy on and off today, but probably cooler for them working.
