Perception of beauty

As a kid, you spend ages deciding, will I give mum this beautiful fake blue flower that I'm convinced is the best thing ever, or will I give her the really cool pasta necklace that I painted by hand??? She would convince me they were both really good choices! Is this good parenting you ask? Did these lies later result in my tragically inspired dress sense through the 80's?? These are questions my mum will one day answer, just after she explains why the necklace had to go lol.

This blip is part of a float at Moomba, hand made by hundreds of misguided kids. Collectively it looked quite good...question is, by acknowledging that, will I effect future fashion???

Such moral dilemma only come with festivals....I need to get out more!
