Distant Drums

Although the city hasn't links with drummer Lee Rigby, these flowers have appeared at the Lion war memorial by the Cowdray Hall, the place where in Armistice Day, the poppy laying ceremony takes place.
As an ex soldier myself, not a very good one mind, I find this very touching.
