The continued quest for native flora...

Brings a "Star Flower" (Trientalis borealis). These are quite common on the forest floor these days. I have small clumps throughout my garden and picked this one specifically because both flowers were open. No ta rare event by any means, but they are usually not openend synchronously, and the first to open always appears "past its prime" when the second is ready to show its stuff.
