Torch-on Roof

Got a phone call at 7:45 from a roofer we had contracted almost a year and a half ago to do our cottage roof, saying he was starting in 10 minutes!
It is a large, flat roof, but by noon they had removed much of the old material and the top of a chimney to below the roof line.
By mid-afternoon they had covered the chimney hole and had started applying new roofing.
Here, three strips of roofing have been unrolled, slightly overlapping and the roofer is using a torch to melt the strips together.
The view and the weather is a bonus.
