Mathilda

.....is the only one of our original hens. She is very friendly and inquisitive. We are very lucky that all 7 hens, acquired in 3 different batches, are all happy together and producing 6 or 7 eggs daily. They were all loving it in the sun in the fruit cage today. Soon they will have to be confined to their own orchard garden as the fruit ripens on the bushes!
I had a trip to Alston this morning for a couple of errands. On return I decided to clean the car as it did look particularly grubby! I also cleaned the inside. It's not a job that gets done very often or on a regular basis but it did look better when I'd finished.
I spent a little time in the garden and rescued a couple of plants blown over. The wind which was quite strong today. 
Been another "odd jobbing" sort of day.
