Carpet fixed

Took the dogs up Carlton hill this morning and remembered to take some water with us and the cool coat for Darwin, which he needed after finding his rope for a while. Spent the morning feeling crap after a poor night sleep but did manage to get the carpet tiles fitted in the cabin. Spent the afternoon getting the food ready for the BBQ tonight. JD arrive at 5 as he was in town buying some new walking boots then RD and FM arrive with her brother and son. Darwin was good with him as he had someone to throw his ball. Went to start the BBQ only to find I hadn’t disconnected the regulator since last weekend and all the gas had leaked out so had to cook the food on the hob, not quite the night I had planned. The hoopers arrive a bit later and we had a nice night drinking and catching up. Everyone left around 11 so headed up to watch some of Glastonbury and Iron Maiden as the headliners. Good guitar playing but Axl Rose’s voice wasn’t up to much.
