Slept well, then fortified by a bucket of tea we walked the big loop around the village via the coastal path, with Findlay sniffing for exciting smells the whole way. It was still warm but with pretty heavy cloud…we wondered if the brightness over the Isle of May might spread…it didn’t! Back home for a tasty breakfast of French toast and bacon with maple syrup, then berries, yoghurt and homemade granola. Made the mistake though of having some (delicious) coffee which meant I wasn’t tired til after 1.30am!
We chatted more about tactics for funding projects, and around plans for some potential new ventures before I set off home.
Started to rain as I drove, and by the time I reached home it was pouring. Did a quick turnaround then went to A’s via Ikea to pick up an order for her. We were going to do some gardening together but it was still very wet so instead we chatted, surfed and played with Paisley, then went for a tour of the garden to inspect all the new growth and baby tomatoes etc when it eventually stopped. Had a delicious supper then watched some Glastonbury whilst I lazily browsed the house sale websites just to see if there might be something I should consider (not seriously though….)
