A long day...

...for Mr Blackbird, who was singing his feathery socks off at 3.30am today, and is still at it this evening.

Been a long day for me too after a disturbed night’s sleep (spoke to soon yesterday),  but there have been a lot of chores to do that couldn’t be put off. A hot muggy morning of 29 degrees, but as the day has gone on, and the westerly wind picked up, it’s definitely cooled down and feels much fresher, thank goodness!
