Iron Quay, Faversham Creek
Birthday number LXIX was spent on a wonderful day in Faversham, the Creek, the Nagden Marshes and along the Swale in almost perfect isolation.
The 8 mile walk was rounded off by a couple of very enjoyable pints in the Furlong micro pub on Preston Street which served local brews. They slipped down a treat. Susan was driving and only had a half of Goachers Mild ale. Very tasty.
I had calls with both my sons. One of whom is in Red Rocks, Nevada on a work conference. The other relaxing at home in Northfleet.
Now sitting outside with a glass of fizzy and nibbles before a filet steak dinner. A perfect day
