Causeway

Went for a wee trip of the stunning Antrim coast, through the Antrim hills down to Ballycastle the up to the big GC.
I’ve been to the Giants Causeway before , my first trip with my boyfriend-who-went-on-to-be-husband in 1995. Apart from the basalt columns I had a completely different memory of it. First of all there wasn’t the £10 parking fee and then there weren’t the hundreds, literally hundreds of tourists of all different nationalities. It’s a bit self centred to say it was a tad annoying when you’re looking for your blip and you need fifty folk to put down their sandwiches and get out of my shot. :))
This mini selfie was the best I could do folks.
Great hot hot walk and up many shepherd steps to the cliffs.
Cooled off with lunch at Bushmills garden centre we’d been recommended and then a Mauds ice cream ( Pooh Bear) and wander along Port street strand.
Back to Belfast to see N’s best school friends for a riotous BBQ. The port came out as will no doubt the headaches in the morning.
