Julius Caesar

We went to see the RSC’s touring production of Julius Caesar at the Lowry Theatre. An innovative staging, as this photograph taken of the set in the last 7 minutes of the interval shows. But we were disappointed by the production. The essence of the main characters seemed confused and the political power of the play was underplayed.
