Upper Channelside

It rained last night! Finally a good downpour. 

It felt cooler and fresher so we decided to walk along the top end of Channelside. 
At first it was very pleasant but as we reached the highest point the sun came out.. and it was warm! 
Luckily there is a new seat and we sat there and took in the view while Fletch snoozed in the shade.  
While we were sat there I realised that the seat was dedicated to someone whom I used to teach. Sad to realise hed died so young. 

We took our time walking back .. too hot for us to walk quickly,  let alone  Fletch.
