You hear a lot of yellowhammers around Kirkhill. They seem to like sitting in a prominent position repeating their song , which is often described as "A Liilte Bit of Bread and no Cheese" --- all on one note, except for a drop of pitch on "cheese". Once you've heard it you don't forget it.
