Poppy

Yet another hot and humid day!

Sat out on the patio again for breakfast, warm even at 7am.  Phoned my friend.  Drove to K's mid morning and we went to Leigh.  Coffee and cake in a lovely shop that sells sourdough and spelt bread plus lots of other local food/drink products.  We then went into a couple of charity shops before going downhill to old Leigh and walking along by the beach.  Back to the car and called in at supermarket on the way home to get some cheese etc to go with the loaf of bread we bought when we had coffee. Sat in the garden for bread, cheese, etc and a piece of cake!
Took these shots of flowers in my garden teatime, the extra is a new salvia that I bought last year, liked the colour.  Went for a walk down the lane this evening and did a litter pick, quite pleasant as cooler.
